Favourite moments in ASIQS

Welcome back to my blog! Despite the fact that I left ASIQS temporarily, it has been one a half years since i joined ASIQS. Let's talk about my favourite moments that happened during this long period of time.

To be honest, I can't really choose one moment to be my favourite, so I'll list a few of them. One of them would definitely be the QLS project where we had to cook, do the dishes, set up the food area and clean the class areas for four weeks. I won't lie, I was definitely nervous and was not looking forward to it at first. But hey, it wasn't that bad. In fact it was fun as I leanrned many things such as the right way to cook, to do dishes, how to sweep properly and more. Without this, the only thing I would have known how to cook / make would only be sandwiches!

Next would be during the celebration of Malaysia's national day in 2017. I think that was the first time ever I presented or talked in front of the whole ASIQS. It was nerve wrecking! I talked about how did the two neighbouring countries, Malaysia and Singapore seperated. Since mine was the longest among others and received so much praise from my friends and Teacher Rafiq during rehearsals, I felt overwhelmingly satisifed after it ended.

Last but not least would be the debate i did recently. We debated about whether the benefits of the internet outweigh the negatives. I think to be honest I did really bad. But I was really excited for this and thankfully we won! I'm also thankful to be able to win the best speakers award!

There is so much more I want to talk about but I guess I'lll stop here . Since we just moved to a new place I hope I get the chance to make more moments / memories like these again. See you guys again in my next blog!

Things ASIQS gained from the move

Hello and greetings to those who are reading my blog. As you might already know, ASIQS moved to a new building. So today I will be telling all about the the things ASIQS have and gained.

Let's start with the environment. As there is no fans around ASIQS in Space U8, the air conditioner will be turned on more often than during in the old place. Making it a colder environment for the teachers and students.

As the place is in a mall and a public place, it will receive attention from outiders. This will allow ASIQS to have a higher chance of students enroling. Talking about attention, it will also make the teachers to make sure the students have a better attitude. Don't want any passerby to see a bad side of ASIQS!

Last but not least, the library. I'm sure many of us have been waiting for this. ASIQS finally gained a library after moving to Space U8. Although it is not finished furnishing yet,  I'm sure all of us can't wait to use the library.

In a nutshell, I think this move has more ups than downs to it. We may lose some good points about the old place but there is much things we gained and more to come insyaAllah. Although some of us may miss the old place, we all look forward to stay and have a good time here for many years to come. That is all from me, gonna go and enjoy learning in the new ASIQS, ASIQS Space U8!
